THE Bridgton p&o Senior Secondary School in Oudtshoorn p&o (BSS) did best of all Western Cape high schools in this year's accounting Olympiad of the South African Council of Chartered Accountants (SAICA) and Pastel participated.

The accident on Dr. Emile Welgemoed's farm, Groenkop, occurred in the De Vlugt area between Herold port of seattle and Uniondale. Welgemoed was about 14:30 working near a river bank to plow when the tractor fell against the wall and Welgemoed under it pinned. He died at the scene.
In yet a tractor accident Mr Jacob Meyer (22), a farm worker, Sunday afternoon on a farm at Geelhoutboom outside George port of seattle died when the tractor fell on him. Captain Bernadine Steyn of South Cape Police said the accident happened when Meyer allegedly around 13:45 with the trigger of a small bridge slowly, and it fell on him. He is on the scene.
