Another gorgeous day for walking so we set off for the Queen Victoria Gardens , Kings Domain and the Royal Botanical Gardens . These are all part of a larger group of parklands directly south-east of the city, between St. Kilda Road and the Yarra River known as the Domain Parklands. My daughter calls this lazy blogging, but I think the pictures alone will show you what a beautiful area of the City this is.

The large bird, black , blue chest red beak is a NZ native calld Pukeko , but they are obviously in Aus too. Often seen all over e place here, along roadsides , you may not have seen or noticed them . Lovely photos of Melbourne greenery
