Time for the World Cup Cricket Quarter Final at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG). There was a possibility best cruises that we’d be watching England. Suffice to say it didn’t happen so it’s India v Bangladesh! Think it’s a good job we kept the ear plugs from the Grand Prix!
Weather forecast is very interesting. A predicted high of 32 C followed by a cold front passing through later bringing heavy rain, gale force gusts, possible thunder storms and a temperature drop of 12 C – typical Melbourne weather!
The match itself goes as expected. India win but Bangladesh put up a brave fight and are not disgraced. Please note UK soccer fans, 51000+ people in the ground, no trouble, no drunks and a great day out for families.
