Norwegian Cruise Line has announced that its largest ship, the Norwegian Epic, the company's ship for 4,100 passengers, will, from 2015, totally dedicated to cruises in Europe, based in the port of Barcelona. Awarded for two years as the "Best Cruise Ship" ("Best Overall Cruise Ship") by the magazine Travel Weekly, will be the largest cruise ship dedicated to Europe throughout yangtze the year.

During 2015, Norwegian Epic will offer a variety of European itineraries that will give guests the opportunity to prove why the Norwegian have been considered for six consecutive "leader in cruises in Europe" year according to the World Travel Awards. Added to this the possibility to experience the best that Freestyle Cruising offers guests: more options for dining, accommodation and entertainment of high class and the flexibility to spend more time on land to be able to explore all that Europe has to offer. On the whole entertainment, yangtze leisure, sports, accommodation and gastronomy, the Norwegian Epic won the award of Cruise Critic as "Best Days to Ship at Sea" ("Best Ship for Sea Days") in 2012.
